Case Studies

Since launching in 2020, we’ve worked with over 25 different studios improving revenue and profitability, building systems to make their lives and running their businesses easier.

Here’s a selection that shows how we do it.

Drifting to Decisive

Cloudfields

Practice J approached us in their 8th year of trading. The business had long since plateaued, with relative low earnings in relation to the age of the practice, and the Founder felt as if they were treading water. We developed a strong business plan that was built from their mission, values and how they wanted to scale over the short term. In addition, the Founder had already begun rebranding the studio, so we provided the foundations for outbound marketing content, storytelling and reviewed the Practice’s market position. We brought in operational systems, financial planning and goals and defined an 18-month strategy for the studio. This resulted in a 40% increase in revenue and 57% increase in pre-tax profit.

Planning to Play

We collaborated with the Founder of Practice HD on a business plan that took into consideration the Founder’s lifestyle and ambitions for the future, including their desire to build a self-funded Art + R&D arm for their business. With a strategic plan in place based on their business objectives, we created a financial model that provided opportunity to fund research and creative work alongside paid work with a rationalised, sustainable business model that offered direction for the future.

Muddled to Managed

Cloudfields

We devised a strategy for our client based on the short to medium term objectives of the business. Our work together created operational infrastructure to reduce lead times by 50%, reviewed external language to elevate the brand from its competitors, leading to £120k increased revenue while equally increasing pre-tax by 26%, and defined its niche to transition to bigger projects with better fees, and helped build a strong core team.
